About SRN

Formerly ACSRM. Launched in 2022. Working across Africa and beyond.

The Systematic Reviews Network (SRN), formerly the African Community for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (ACSRM), is a registered charity supporting the production, dissemination, and use of systematic reviews across low- and middle-income countries. Launched in December 2022 at the University of Rwanda and the University of Lagos with seed funding from INASP, SRN works across Africa and beyond through training, mentorship, and research collaboration.

From introductory training to completed meta-analyses, SRN supports researchers and policymakers at every stage, providing hands-on training, one-to-one mentorship, and open resources to help evidence move from research questions to real-world decisions.

Mentorship

Guidance from someone who has done it before.

The Mentorship Programme pairs researchers with experienced reviewers throughout a live review process, helping them make confident methodological decisions from protocol development to final synthesis.
